Default 'Affix' Adds a Simple Notification Settings Shortcut to Notification Center

Those of you that are tired of fumbling through your Settings application to adjust the settings of how widgets and notifications are arranged or enabled/disabled in Notification Center should take a look at a new free jailbreak tweak in Cydia today called Affix by iOS developer ravirajm.

Affix adds a new button to the bottom right of Notification Center in iOS that matches the button in Notification Center in Mac OS X Mountain Lion.

The button, when tapped, opens up your Notifications preferences pane in the Settings application, as shown above, so you can get to adjust your widgets or notifications immediately. You'll also be able to get to your Do Not Disturb settings easily.

Affix is something that Apple should have implemented already, but for some reason, didn’t. Sometimes it’s the small things, like Affix, that could make all the difference in making iOS better. If you’re interested in grabbing Affix, it’s available for free in Cydia’s ModMyi repository. It doesn’t come with any options to configure.

    Name: Affix
    Price: FREE
    Version: 1.0
    Requirements: iOS 6

Does this play nice with the BiteSMS quick link button in what looks to be the same spot?

Am I the only one around here…who's fed up with mere shortcuts being produced, when JB developers have access to the entire iOS?

It doesn't seem to - both buttons overlap each other.
