'TapTweetPlus' Makes it Easy to Tweet About the Music You're Listening to
Those of you that like sharing what you’re listening to with the world will want to check out a new free jailbreak tweak called TapTweetPlus by iOS developer ipon3g.
TapTweetPlus adds a new button to the Twitter compose sheet, which comes up when you tap on the Tweet button via Notification Center as shown above. The button is shaped like a music note, and when you tap on it, the Tweet compose sheet gets auto-filled with information about the music you’re listening to. The tweak even attaches the album artwork to the Twitter compose sheet.
TapTweetPlus relies on the iOS Twitter integration that is available through iOS 5 and later. Because iOS 6 was the first version of iOS to receive the Share Widget in Notification Center, iOS 5 users will have to assign an Activator action to reveal the Twitter compose sheet. The tweak doesn’t add any features to the Twitter application, so you will need to make sure you have signed into Twitter through the Settings application of iOS to take advantage of the tweak's features.
From the tweak's preferences pane, you will be able to enable or disable an "Auto" feature, which will basically auto-fill the Twitter compose sheet with currently-playing song information every time you pull it up; we find that it's better to just use the music note button:
TapTweetPlus works with third party music applications like Spotify, Pandora, and others on top of the stock Music application. The tweak is free in Cydia's BigBoss repository if you'd like to give it a try.
Requirements: iOS 5+
Editor's Rating: / 3.5/5
