Default 'Capture View' Allows You to Save Scrolling Views As Screenshots

Sometimes you end up getting into a conversation with someone, and they ask, “how do you do that on your iPhone?” It can be annoying to send people multiple screenshots when you’re trying to show someone a long pane such as the Settings application, so wouldn’t it be better if you could just screenshot the entire thing?

A new jailbreak tweak called Capture View by iOS developer ioshack lets you do this – but it’s not limited to the Settings application; you’ll be able to use it with other scrollable views that aren’t the Settings application as well. It captures screenshots of scrollable panes the same way that Capture Web takes full screenshots of Web Pages for you; unfortunately, Capture View doesn't capture Web views too – you'll need to purchase Capture Web separately for that functionality!

When you tap and hold in a scrollable view, you will get the Action Menu popup, as shown above, and you will be able to tap on the “ScrollCapture” button to begin generating a tall screenshot of the entire scrollable view. In this case, the entire general section of the Settings application is captured as a single screenshot. The Action Menu bubble also gives you the option to simply capture the one thing you were tapping and holding on by selecting the "Capture" option:

All the screenshots you take are stored in the Camera Roll. You will get a confirmation message saying that the image has been stored each time you capture a screenshot with the tweak. If you’re interested in giving Capture View a try, you will find it in Cydia’s BigBoss repository for just $1.

only thing, if you capture a group text, it shows the recipients over and over again, blocking some parts of the conversation. and "hide recipients" isn't compatible with bitesms.

A lot of jailbreak tweaks do not work in Cydia. I don't think Action Menu is any exception.
