'Record 'n' Torch' Lets You Toggle the Flash On or Off in the Middle of Capturing Video
One of the limiting parts of the iOS Camera application is that you can’t enable the camera flash while you’re in the middle of recording. You have to enable the camera flash before or after you record a video and then you’re stuck with the selection you chose until you finish recording.
If this limitation bothers you, then there’s a new free jailbreak tweak in Cydia’s BigBoss repository today called Record ‘n’ Torch by iOS developer PoomSmart.
Record ‘n’ Torch puts a separate camera flash button on the Camera interface (shown above) whenever you’re in the middle of recording video. The button can be moved around to your liking by simply tapping and holding and then dragging, the button around. Whenever the flash is enabled, the button will glow yellow. Whenever the flash is disabled, the button will be a dim gray. Turning the flash on and off is instantaneous and won't affect your video recording apart from the obvious lighting differences.
From the tweak’s preferences pane, you can enable and disable the camera flash button when recording on demand, as well as disable a gesture in the Camera application to prevent interruptions. We recommend leaving this feature on – it is turned on by default:
The developer notes that there is currently a bug in this version that can cause issues if you’re trying to drag the camera flash button around while you’re in upside down portrait mode. Since most people don’t use upside down portrait mode, this bug probably won’t be noticed by most, but it is recommended that you avoid this orientation in the current version.
Record ‘n’ torch is compatible with iOS 6 on the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPod touch 5G.
Name: Record 'n' Torch

This is what jailbreaking is all about. Little stuff like this makes it worth jailbreaking by itself. It should be 5/5 though since its more useful and works better than weather icon 6.

I agree. It's the little things that you miss when you don't have them- and the thoughts in the middle if doing things that make you wish you could change something. Jailbreaking makes the iPhone.
