'Pinnacle' Makes it Easier to Navigate Through the Settings Application
One thing that is really annoying about the iOS settings application is that when you go into preference panes that are several panes deep, you have to press the back button several times to get back to where you were before.
A new jailbreak tweak called Pinnacle by iOS developers Josh Kugelmann and Idhanta attempts to make this a little bit easier; and more practical. The tweak makes it so that when you're deep within the maze of the Settings application, you can simply tap and hold on the back button to view a running history of the preference panes you're inside of, like shown above.
In the screenshot above, we navigated to Settings>General>Accessibility>Speak Selection. Rather than tapping the back button several times to get back to the main Settings page, we can tap and hold on the back button to get the screen above. Tapping on any of the items in the history will bring us to the preferences pane that we tap on. This makes it easier to get back to specific preference panes.
In addition, users can disable the history feature and make it so that tapping and holding on the back button takes you directly to the main Settings page. This feature makes it super simple to get back to the beginning with just one tap, rather than four. The tweak is configured via the Settings application, where the user can choose to enable and disable the tweak on demand, as well as enable or disable the history (show menu) feature:
This tweak is great for people that are constantly playing with their device’s preferences. It’s also free. If you want to give it a try, you’ll find it in Cydia’s BigBoss repository!

I never realized the settings pane was a difficult maze to navigate... Rather then reaching your thumb all the way up there to press the back button, try: swipenav... Can go back with a lil left to right swipe from down low on the screen... Easy breezy...

Love it! Works with other apps as well; perfectly with Twitter.

One of those tweaks you never realised you wanted/needed, but when you lose your jailbreak you'll miss sorely.
