Thread: WeatherIcon 6 Released With Support for iOS 6

  1. #41
I even can not see anything on Statusbar. Only the Weather Icon has been changed

  2. #42
Thanks for making Weathericon live again.
I have installed Boss theme but my weather icon still does not display theme overlay. Can someone please tell me how to fix it?

Yeah, this is not at all working like it's supposed to. In fact, my weather widget on Lockinfo isn't even refreshing. There are some bugs, for sure. I'm uninstalling until they get worked out.

Yes might be that weather updates are not proper but has GPS something to do with Winterboard theme not working on Weathericon 6?

Also in ios 5.1.1 with Ayecon Theme the icon changed frequently for sunny, cloudy, rainy along with temp. However on ios 6 though the developer has done a great job for it to work, frequent pulling down NC changes the theme of the weather icon and the temp but it only changes from blue cloudy to night mode in mauve. It still does not change to rainy or any other condition. Any one experiencing the same with the weathericon 6 .

Since the update, the icons for the weather (sun, clouds, etc) are updating. But the temperature only updates after I pull NC down 3 times.

    Read the release notes.
Needs an update to libstatusbar for the live weather to work on the status bar.
Right now just the weather on the icon you choose works.
But as most of us are finding that isn't working right either.
    Unrelated.

Simply not working. Even the new version does not update the Temp on the icon unless you Respring or Reboot. Once in awhile, opening and closing Notification Center does the trick to make the temp update, but most times not. Sorry to say it, but deleting it. It sounded cool.

Working 100% for me. I'm on iPhone 5 with 6.1 iOS. Using TWC MAX as my overlay icon. Always shows correct weather for correct location. *shrugs*

I so lied...it's stuck on 55. I could've sworn it was working fine, but it sure isn't right now.

And it just updated. IDK what's going on with it.

I wonder if it's something to do with location services?
When I pull down NC, location services displays on the status bar, and the weather widget updates.
Maybe Weather Icon needs to somehow keep location services always on?

    Edit: hopefully it gets sorted.
These icon images are much better than the stock ones. imo
    Not my work, found em...

Yeah...it's working. I think it updates with the app I have loaded for showing weather on the LS. But it's matching and changing colors when night comes, etc.

with the author be incorporating the theme.plist option back in so that you can move your weathericons up and down? there are themes where the clouds/sun/etc overlap the temperature..

Under iOS 5, the icon backgrounds were [email protected] and [email protected] in yourtheme.theme\Bundles\com.apple.springboard

In iOS 6, they are [email protected] and [email protected] in yourtheme.theme\Bundles\com.ashman.WeatherIcon

I swear mine was working yesterday, but all night and this morning, it's been stuck at 55 and sunny, which isn't correct. Anyone else seeing this? Running Jaku on an i5.

Does this not put a weather icon in status bar for iOS 6? I have it turned on in settings.

Does the status bar temp and icon work for you?
