Default 'iBatteryInfo' Shows Information About Your Battery When Plugging/Unplugging Power

Those that are constantly trying to keep an eye on the status of their iOS device’s battery will want to try out a new free jailbreak tweak called iBatteryInfo by iOS developer davidedj10.

As shown above, the tweak will display information about your battery whenever it is plugged into a power source, or when you disconnect the device from a power source. The information that the tweak gives you about your battery includes:

    • Current capacity
    • Maximum capacity
    • Whether or not the device is fully charged
    • Amount of charging cycles the device has been through
    • Serial number
    • Cable details
    • Amperage Output

iBatteryInfo shows the information whether you’re on the home screen, lock screen, or even in an application. You will have to dismiss the pop-up that appears, after it appears, in order to get back to what you were doing.

iBatteryInfo is easily enabled or disabled on demand from the preferences pane in the Settings application:

Some of the information is indeed extraneous for the average user, however the amount of charging cycles, and the capacity may be some interesting information for some people. If you're interested in grabbing this free tweak, you'll find it in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now.

I love it! Some times I am charging the phone, and it says 100%, well it is not really 100% charged, this program confirms that. Thank you!

Definitely rules the battery apps. One little problem on my side, auto brightness doesn't seem to work anymore.
