'FaceDetectionDuringVideo' Enables Face Detection When Capturing Video on Older Devices

At the beginning of the month, we showed you a jailbreak tweak that enabled face detection while capturing video on the iPhone 4S. The tweak was useful for those with an iPhone 4S, but it really left those with other kinds of iOS devices in the dark.

The same iOS developer (PoomSmart) has stepped forward Wednesday afternoon with a new jailbreak tweak called FaceDetectionDuringVideo. The tweak is just like FaceDetectionVideo4S, however it enables face detection while capturing video on all of the following devices:

• iPod touch 5G
• iPhone 4S
• iPad 4
• iPad Mini

With face detection enabled, your device will show green bounding boxes around every face in the frame when shooting video, or when snapping photographs. These green bounding boxes won’t appear in the actual videos or photos when they’re recorded to the Camera Roll.

Let me explain things,

"FaceDetectionDuringVideo" Work while Video recording, work in many iDevices. (With Face Detection supported)
"FaceDetectionVideo4S" Work with iPhone 4S Video mode when not recording.
They are not the same.

However, I just contacted with BigBoss to remove "FaceDetectionVideo4S" and keep "FaceDetectionDuringVideo" to become common because it can work as same as "FaceDetectionVideo4S" PLUS it supported more iDevices.

This is also supported iPhone 5, maybe Anthony forgot to write.
