Apple Releases iOS 6.1.3
[WARNING: Jailbreakers should avoid the update, as there is no returning to 6.1.2 JB (even if you saved blobs) with the exception of iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G)]
Apple on Tuesday issued the latest update for iOS. iOS 6.1.3 is now available. From what we can tell, the update chiefly fixes a few minor issues. According to Apple:
This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
- Fixes a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app
- Improvements to Maps in Japan

In reality nothing in iOS 5 or 6 are worth losing a JB, and losing google maps was a big negative. Apple hasn't made a significant iOS upgrade for years.

I'm glad I went to 6.1.2 and jb weeks ago. Hopefully they don't waste any more exploits until the iOS 7 release.

because it might not be useless in the future. same reason one of my friends is paying an annual fee to store his last wolfdog's cells. can't clone here yet, but one day soon he may be able to.

I'm a rabid apple fan since 1983, but with the iPhone, I'm getting annoyed that we have to JB to get simple features. Also same OS look since 5 years now. Gonna look at android or z10.

Damn, was hoping for another Beta before I upgraded my iPad 3 from 6.1 to 6.1.2. Oh well, nothing about 6.1.1 or 6.1.2 that I needed for my iPad 3 anyway. Runs just fine.

Anyone know if I can still restore to 6.1.2 (as in, is 6.1.2 still be signed)? Things have been acting a bit flakey lately and wanted to do a full restore, but just haven't had a chance to! I'm on 6.1.2 jailbroken...so hopefully yes?

Did Apple already stop signing 6.1.2?

I think the 6.1.3 update is useless I'll stay on 6.1.2 until a better update gets released
