Default 'Tap to Widgets' Adds Calendar, Notes, and Reminder Widgets to Notification Center

In the middle of February, ModMyi showed you a pair of new Notification Center widgets called Tap to Note and Tap to Remind by iOS developer Alan Yip. The developer has released a new jailbreak tweak Saturday, which basically combines both of these widgets into one tweak, and adds a new Calendar widget. The tweak also adds some additional options to configure.

One thing you will notice right off that bat is that you basically have two choices – you can pick having all of the widgets as individual widgets on separate rows, or you can choose to have the all-in-one widget, which contains your Twitter, Facebook, Calendar, Notes, and Reminders shortcuts all in one widget. Unlike the individual Tap to Note and Tap to Remind widgets, you can't put the individual widgets side-by-side without using the all-in-one widget.

Also important to note, you don’t have to have the all-in-one widget showing while you have the individual widgets showing – you can hide and show any of the widgets that are shown above through the Notifications preference pane in the Settings application.

Each of the individual widgets have a custom share sheet to match the application it corresponds to – the Notes widget opens a share sheet styled to look like the Notes application, the Calendar widget opens a share sheet styled to look like the Calendar application, and the Reminders widget opens a share sheet styled to look like the Reminders application. We have Joshua Tucker's concept to thank for the appearances of the widget sheets and all-in-one widget:

By tapping on the Add button, you will add whatever you input into the share sheet to the corresponding application. If you tap and hold on the Add button, you will get to choose to save whatever you input locally on your device, or on iCloud for all of your devices.

From the tweak's preferences pane in the Settings application, you will be able to enable or disable auto-closing Notification Center after saving something via the share widgets in Notification Center, as well as manage your side-by-side widgets. For side-by-side widgets, you can hide and show the separator between the share widgets and drag the widgets in and out of the side-by-side view:

Tap to Widgets is currently only compatible with iOS 6 on iPhones and iPod touches, and works with popular tweaks like LockInfo, IntelliScreenX, and Dashboard X for adding the widgets to places that aren’t Notification Center. Tap to Widgets does not support the iPad. Tap to Widgets is currently on sale for $1.99 as an introductory price!

    Name: Tap to Widgets
    Price: $1.99 limited time
    Version: 1.0.0
Requirements: iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 6
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: Alan Yip

The original Tap to Note and Tap to Remind didn't seem to work with iCloud sync unless you opened the corresponding app and opened the Note/Reminder you created and edit it (something as simple as a space or new line would work).
Anyone know if it's fixed in this version? Ah, Just read the description. It's not supported.

??? You can. You just enter the event info and hold down the "add" button and then pick which calendar you want to add it to.

    Is that what you meant?

My paid tweak turned into a free tweak and I have to pay for the premium version. Nice!

It would be better if it was built into the share widget or something because i dont like having a million different widgets.

A full bar? Why? NC space is a premium. Shouldn't it at least be all 3 items on a single bar? Or better still, just icons like the NC bar below the 3. What is that NC tweak anyway?

It seems you still have to manually open the app and modify the note before it will sync. I wonder if that's just a limitation of iOS or if there will be a solution in a future release. I hope the dev gets it working in a future release because I know if you did it with Siri it would instantly sync. That will get kind of annoying when I want to write a quick note/reminder on my iPhone and want it on my iPad also.

Sorry Anthony but I have the same opinion. I cannot understand why did this received 5 out of 5 when many other well designed useful tweaks only get, for example, 4/5 or even 4.5/5.
