Default 'Bounds Color' Lets You Change the Color of Bounds Outlines

In Settings application panes, Mail application threads, and other places, iOS has those little outlines that surround preference panes or e-mail threads. It's a nice little touch, but could definitely do with some customization.

Thatís what Bounds Color by iOS developer Daniel Taub has to offer for jailbreaks. The tweak is free and allows you to change the color of those outlines in iOS, as shown above. Another example of the tweak's use is in the Mail application surrounding the e-mail threads:

Bounds Color comes with a preferences pane that youíll find in the Settings application allowing you to choose the color you want to use for those outlines:

    The color choices include:

    • Random
    • Default
    • No bounds
    • Red
    • Green
    • Blue
    • Black
    • White
    • Gray
    • Dark Gray
    • Brown
    • Purple
    • Orange
    • Yellow
    • Cyan
    • Magenta

Bounds Color works best when you quit the applications with these outlines in them from the App Switcher for any settings you change to take effect. You won't need to respring after changing a color choice. If you're interested in adding that extra layer of customization to your iOS device, check out Bounds Color in Cydia right now!

A useless and ugly "tweak". If we even can call it a tweak...

  5. #4
    Really 4/5 for this???

It's not that bad. Nice clean little tweak.

Someone should make a tweak where you can change the color of the iMessage/text message bubbles! I know winterboard can do it but a tweak would be easier

    Love all the negative crap(sarcasm).
I personally think it's a great, simple, and to the point tweak.
If you theme your device by modifying core files (NO winterboard) then this is a great tweak to polish the look.

No matter how "useless" I find an app I NEVER say it's crap you know why? Because I can't make one. I also suspect all you f-tards talking crap about this app have no clue how to build an app either. IF you do then make a better one but leave others hard work alone.

I for one like this and have already swapped to red.

Actually it's NOT hard work, it's a few lines amateur coded tweak with NO original idea and no case when it can be useful. It just makes the UITableViews look ugly. BTW, thanks for the notice, I know how to make a real useful tweak or app.

    Glad you like it.

Works good but it would be nice if it included a respring button so I don't have to respring manually.

Actually no need to respring, just close 'settings' in the app switcher and the next time you open it the changes will be applied.
