'Sticky Icky' Makes Banner Notifications Stickier
The banner notifications in iOS auto-dismiss themselves after a few seconds, which might not be long enough for some people to completely catch the content of the banner if they’re in the middle of something.
A new free jailbreak tweak called Sticky Icky by iOS developer AleksanderAzizi makes it so that you have to manually dismiss banner notifications when they appear on your screen. The tweak adds a black X button on the right side of the notification banner, which you can tap on to dismiss the notification banner.
As long as Sticky Icky is installed, notification banners will not auto-dismiss themselves after a couple of seconds.
In case you were wondering, Sticky Icky is fully compatible with DietBulletin, a jailbreak tweak that shrinks the size of the notification banners to make them less obtrusive. If you have DietBulletin installed, your banners will look like this with Sticky Icky installed:
Sticky Icky does a great job of making your notification banners stickier. There are no options to configure for the tweak, just install it and use it – Sticky Icky is available in the ModMyi repository of Cydia right now.

Why not get rid of the x button and use the swipe feature that is already there to dismiss the banners after you are done with it?
