Yes. Anybody can get great battery life if they cripple the iPhone by turning lots of things off. But that, in a way, is cheating. The way to measure great battery life is leaving everything on that naturally is left on when you buy the iPhone and see how the battery does then. In that category the 4S was a failure. You had to turn off Push you had to turn off many things. Very much cripple the phone to get it to give you any reasonable battery life. With the 5 you don't have to do is much of that.
Here to help if I can.

Yeah. Me too. My 4S got me thru the day. Barely. I'm a heavy user. But it never got anywhere near Apple's specs for most of us. The last Amazing battery was iPhone 3GS on 4.2.1. I could use the phone for almost 2 days before it needed a recharge. Now THAT was battery life!! iPhone 4 on 5.0.2 was pretty good too.

After 6 months with my S3 I'm ready to come back when ever Apple releases a 4.8" phone. I've really come to love the extra screen size but I miss iOS.

I am an Android user and i will change to Apple instantly if....
Just think of all that extra battery and the extra hours of use without having to be plugged in. That is one thing they can do with all that extra space
They finally decide to make a 4.7" - 5.0" screen iPhone. I have rather large hands and the current iPhone its a lil to small to type in. Thats the reason i converted to Galaxy S3 which i can say i truly do not enjoy the OS but i love the screen size.
The new Apple managment seems to understand that it is about pleasing the customer base and not their EGO's. Having different size screens in their portfoglio they will attract alot more customers.
Another thing i would like is a LockInfo style integrated Lockscreen and a few more tweaks and tricks added to the ecosystem.
Apple you are about to get back a whole lot a customers that left if you provide a larger screen option. Just saying!!!Last edited by VegasDaddy; 02-21-2013 at 02:23 AM.

I'm 100% satisfied with my Nexus 4 after upgrading from my SGS3. I have an iphone 4s lying around that I only use as an expensive ipod now, even after the ios 6 jailbreak. It seems like the tweaks to add the things I've become so accustomed to with my Android devices absolutely destroy my battery life if I throw my SIM in and attempt to use it for a day.
I can idle at 1%/hr with my Nexus 4, or 3-5%/hr with my iphone. Seems a silly choice to ever use the iphone as anything but a bluetooth host for my wireless headset in the gym.
