The evasi0n untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 has been pretty popular, according to a report claiming that evasi0n has seen over seven million users in just the last four days. If you’re one of these seven million people with a jailbroken device thanks to evasi0n, and you're proud of it, why not show some patriotism to your new jailbreak?

A new HTML-based lock screen widget called evad3rs Animated Widget iPhone 5 by JMG has just landed in Cydia for free. It is animated, and comes with a few different features that are sure to pique the interest of many. The creator shares a video demo of the animated widget, which is shown below:

The widget comes with a few different features, including the ability to play the animation, loop the animation over and over, pause the animation, or even show the credits for the evasi0n jailbreak, which shows all the iOS hackers that are responsible for bringing the jailbreak tool into the public’s hands.

The widget is enabled through WinterBoard, which was just recently updated for the A6 CPU and for iOS 6.1. The widget also comes with the styled lock screen interface, as shown above, however users can choose to enable one or the other, or both, depending on their tastes.

The creator makes it very clear that the widget is intended for the iPhone 5 only, as it has been formatted for the four-inch display. We assume that it would work on the iPod touch 5G just fine. It also runs fine on our iPhone 4, however part of the controls are cut off due to the formatting of the widget not playing nicely on the smaller display, so we don't recommend it for older devices without the taller displays.

I'm planning to make a Free matrix evasi0n inspired style wallpaper if anyone think that would be worth it. I loved the Evasi0n icon which was apart of the JB process.

An evasi0n logo Slide to unlock?

There's another theme for that in Cydia. Check out the recent releases.

Yea had that too, just dropped them into the UISounds folder and they work though

He's on the right track. Now we just need it to be faster and allow more frames. 20-something frames over 3 seconds is like 1/3rd of what you'd need for smooth animations, otherwise it's a slideshow.

not dissing the evaders or their work, but seriously. could they not have come up with a better name? and then to top it off, they call their tool evasion..

I'll be the first to use their stuff, but their name is now worse than the pwn dev teams..

still though, love their work.
