Popular Display Recorder Jailbreak App Gets iOS 6.1 Support

Ryan Petrich’s popular Display Recorder jailbreak application has been updated Tuesday morning with support for iOS 6.1. Display Recorder allows you to capture screen videos that record everything you do on your iOS device. The application is well known and widely used by guide-makers, reviewers, and concept designers.

Display Recorder can record sound from your microphone as it captures video from your display, and when finished, the application even comes with tools for easy uploading to YouTube. The application comes with features to adjusting the frame-rate and quality for optimal performance on our mobile devices.

Display Recorder is toggled on or off using Activator, so it’s easy to enable and disable recording on demand. The application that is installed on your home screen will house all of your recorded video files, and you can import them to your Camera Roll for easy sharing via E-mail, social networking, SMS, or iMessage.

In addition, the application icon is now labeled "Recorder" on the home screen, rather than "DisplayRecorder," which makes the name a lot shorter and less compressed.

New users can download Display Recorder from the BigBoss repository today for $4.99. Existing users can update to the new version of Display Recorder with iOS 6.1 support from Cydia at no cost.

I have created on my springboard a Url. shortcut From YouTube.
And when I delete it,and reboot My phone, The ******* thing Coming back on my Springboard!!!!!
It Is anyway I can Get read of it With I file?

Can't upload to YouTube or Camera Roll. Any suggestions or is this common for whoever has d/led?

YouTube says can't convert btw.

IS this the same display recorder that was available in the app store real briefly? i have display recorder from the app store and is labeled by the same developer but is just ver 1.0 i think you guys did a write up on here last yr in june and a hurry up and grab it while you can type app LOL

I used this before! Great for instructional videos. But my iPad seems to have trouble storing and playing the videos. Worked great on the last iOS. I'll email the dev my logs and hope he can figure it out. Anyone else having this problem?

I was having the same problem. I saw a youtube video that said to turn Lock frame rate on. That made it actually start recording videos, but they are cut off on my iPad 3. It's like it's locked in portrait.

Just talked to Dev. Locking Frame Rate drastically helps with saving vids and uploading them.

No, this is the original Display Recorder that has been in Cydia for years by Ryan Petrich.

Yeah I'm having the same issues with the video being sideways or upside down.
