Angry Birds Star Wars Updated With Promised New Levels

Angry Birds Star Wars has received a healthy update Thursday that includes the promised Escape From Hoth levels that we told you about yesterday. There are a total of 20 new levels, as well as 2 bonus levels in the update. Rovio also tells us that there is a boss battle in one of these levels, so be prepared for a fight if you want to beat these levels.

The levels feature the asteroid field, just like from the Star Wars movies, and include mynock pigs, which Rovio tells us to be careful of in the belly of the asteroid. Why?... Well we wouldn't want to spoil any surprises for you. You'll just have to find out for yourselves!

Rovio continues to update Angry Birds Star Wars frequently with additional scenes from Star wars, indicating that Rovio is working hard with Lucasarts to make as many of the episodes into game play as possible. Angry Birds Star Wars also continues to hold a spot in the Paid section of the Top Carts tab in the App Store, illustrating its popularity among both Angry Birds fans and Star Wars fans.

Glad someone else shares the same view as me. Angry birds is a great game but doesn't everyone think that their pushing the franchise a bit too much now?

Pushing the franchise? You mean there's a limit to the way the company is allowed to make money on their own products?

Yes there is (in my opinion). Angry Birds is great and all but I get fed up with it and get featured all the time. In my opinion (yep still no facts just saying what I think ) Apple as well as blogs, forums, like Modmyi etc should be writing about smaller games that are still great fun to play and really innovative but aren't necessarily that popular.

they are just gonna squeeze every last drop out of the franchise my friend can u not see this...temple run 2 is a great example of innovation my friend they redesigned it added new features its great man thats why its doing so well...
