Default Play Tic Tac Toe On Your Home Screen With 'TicTacToe for DashBoard X'

Dashboard X is a popular widget platform for iOS that allows you to set your Notification Center widgets, and custom Dashboard X widgets on the home screen or inside of a separate dashboard view. If you use Dashboard X, then check out a new free widget in Cydia starting today called TicTacToe for Dashboard X by iOS developer iA1eX.

Shown below, TicTacToe for Dashboard X is literally a Tic Tac Toe game that you can play on your home screen through Dashboard X. When you enable the widget, you'll be able to place it on your home screen and you can tap on the Play button to begin a new game:

When you start a new game, you can tap on the blank boxes to input your shape. The first to tap gets assigned X’s and the second to tap gets assigned O’s. There’s no undo button, but players can take turns tapping on the boxes to play Tic Tac Toe, just like they would on paper, only this way is much more environmentally friendly.

When a player scores three of one symbol in a row, the game will end and the widget will say that either O or X won. You can then tap on the “Reset” button to reset the game board to play again.

The widget itself is transparent and has a nice drop shadow at the bottom to help your eyes distinguish it from the actual wallpaper. The widget looks best on darker wallpapers, as it can be a little hard to see on lighter wallpapers. You can enable and disable the widget at any time from Dashboard X's settings. Check it out!
