Geohot Submits New 'Reactions' App to App Store

Well-known iOS hacker George Hotz (Geohot) is following iOS hacker pod2g’s footsteps and launching an iOS application into the App Store. Geohot is known for his efforts in finding the limera1n bootrom exploit. If you recall, pod2g created podDJ, a very high-quality DJing application, which we covered here.
Geohot has some amazing hacking skills, but what kind of application would he have the interest in working on? A Tweet by MuscleNerd reveals that the application is called Reactions (Web page here). It has been submitted to the App Store and is currently pending launch.
According to the Web page, Reactions will have a Windows 8-like interface. The application will take advantage of both cameras on modern iOS devices at the same time instead of just one. This means you can't pick between the two cameras, and you have to use both at the same time. The application will capture the “reaction” on your face while you snap a photograph, ergo the name.
Reactions won't let you save the photographs you take; instead, you will have 3 seconds after snapping the photograph to cancel the photograph with the unlabeled cancel button, or else it will be automatically shared to your Facebook for all of your friends and family (and business partners?) to see.
Are you going to grab Reactions when it's out?

What i don't understand why people say "someone if following in someones else's footsteps." like that.
Because you never know, maybe Geo Hotz was working on this before Pod2g started on any app?
I Think Its annoying when people say this because i makes the "person who comes second" look **** or like they stole whoever's idea.
even though they came second because they are wanting to prefect it more.
I dunno thats how i feel anyways.
Dunno if anyone else feels the same.

Personally,
I'm glad that GeoHot seems to have a healthy sense of humor this time
and isn't taking himself way too seriously.
The reason he bailed from the JB world (before the Sony and legal stuff happened) was because his users, instead of being grateful and appreciative were rude, nasty and insensitive.
And left him some pretty nasty email.
When you roll with the with the trolls, its troll or be trolled.
I'm super-duper thrilled that GeoHot is only trying to do a silly little app
and not trying to change the world this time.
He's just testing the water, which for him is probably a good idea.
No, the v1.0.1 update will NOT carry an encrypted payload that deploys an unpatchable jailbreak.
He'd never try anything sneaky. Nothing of the sort. No way! :P

Why do I feel like this whole thing is just geohot trolling us? It's the kind of thing he'd do, and it'd be hilarious if it is.

Huh....I don't really see the point of this app. I can see a lot of "oops" pictures or embarrassing pics getting posted on ppl's FB. This could lead to lawsuits etc......

I think people will buy it. And I think I will laugh at them while they do it. But more importantly, GeoHot will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Sounds a bit silly to me. I would rather him spend his time helping with the jailbreaks.
