Re-gain Precious Pixels in Group Chats With 'Show/Hide Recipients'
When youíre in a group conversation with multiple people in iOS, whether it be through SMS or through iMessage, iOS displays a thick recipient bar at the top of the display that takes up a good chunk of your limited pixels, which shows the names or phone numbers of all of the people receiving your messages in the group conversation.
If you want to reclaim these pixels that the recipient bar is taking away from your viewing area, a new free jailbreak tweak is available in Cydia starting today called Show/Hide Recipients by iOS developer danyl.
Show/Hide Recipients allows you to double-tap anywhere in the conversation window to hide and show the recipient bar. The tweak works in both group conversations and one-on-one conversations in the Messages application, however it will serve as most useful in group-type conversations. The reduced clutter means you will be able to see more of the conversation between you and your recipient at a glance.
Itís a very subtle tweak, and definitely very subjective since not everyone partakes in group conversations, however itís absolutely free and danyl has made the source code available for everyone to view on Github at this link. Grab it if you think it could be useful to you!

This seems like a very basic tweak and can be just fun to have if it kinda peeves you.
However saying "regain precious pixels" or what not is way to much of an exaggeration. Those pixels aren't really precious..

side note, anyone know of any tweaks that doesn't automatically scroll down to a new message if you're scrolled up in a message reading previous entries??
