Default 'HUDFade' Adds An Introductory Fade Animation to the HUD

If you’ve ever adjusted your volume before, you’ve seen iOS’ HUD (heads up display). It’s the little popup that shows you your volume level on the screen. A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed HUDFade by iOS development team HASHBANG Productions adds a little new flavor to the HUD.

When you press the volume buttons, the HUD just appears out of nowhere. However, when the HUD goes away, there is an awesome fading animation. HUDFade makes it so that this same fading animation appears as the HUD is introduced, and not only when it is dismissed.

HUDFade is fully compatible with another of HASHBANG Productions’ jailbreak tweaks called BrightVol, which we showed you here almost two weeks ago. The new fading animation works not only with the volume HUD, but also with the brightness HUD that BrightVol shows for you. We recommend trying these two tweaks together!

HUDFade has no options to configure. It's great for anyone just trying to add some simple customization to their iOS devices, as the new effect is rather subtle. The tweak does require iOS 5 or newer to install.

    Name: HUDFade
    Price: FREE
    Version: 0.1-1
    Requirements: iOS 5+
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: HASHBANG Productions
