Instagram Update Adds New Filter, iOS 6 Facebook Support, More Features
If you’re one of the many iOS users that uses Instagram for your photography sharing and entertainment, you can download an updated version of the Instagram application from the App Store starting today. The application has been updated to version 3.4.0 and includes some new features.
Instagram now supports 25 different languages and has built-in integration for iOS 6’s Facebook integration. The Facebook integration is a clear mark of Facebook having bought Instagram out in a $1 Billion deal. The application also gets some bug fixes and performance improvements that should help with overall speed and stability.
Instagram has also gained the new Mayfair photograph filter that you can apply to photographs. In another recent update to Instagram, the application gained the new Willow photograph filter; it’s good to see the application getting more of these options for users to apply to their photographs.
The application can also now be used to share photographs from any album.
If you're an existing user, you can find the update from the Updates tab in the App Store. Alternatively, you can download the Instagram application for free from this link.
