Apple Online Store Now Displays iPhone 5 As 'In Stock'

Over the last couple of months since the iPhone 5 launch date, we have been keeping you updated on the shipping times for the iPhone 5, which has been improving by about a week every couple of weeks. In the last week of November, the iPhone 5 was showing a one-week shipping wait on Apple’s Web site, but today, the iPhone 5 is now displaying “In Stock” when you try to buy the iPhone 5 on Apple’s Web site.

The improvement shows that Apple’s ability to provide a supply has finally caught up with the demand for the product. Apple’s iPhone 5 has been in high demand since its initial launch, which at the time took a rather long four weeks to ship the device.

Being only a couple of weeks away from the holidays, this news is great for everyone that has been holding off to purchase an iPhone 5 for themselves, or as gifts for their friends and families. The iPhone 5 is one of the most demanded items on the Christmas list of 2012.

In addition to Apple’s Web site catching up with demand and being able to ship the units immediately, potential consumers can also attempt walk-ins into their carrier store, Apple Store, or other authorized reseller store and will likely have good luck finding some in stock.
