Apple's Passbook Making Splash in Real Estate

Apple's Passbook feature for iOS 6 has already begun infiltrating major industries at a hastened pace. From coffee companies like Starbucks to leading U.S. airlines, Apple's freshly unveiled electronic ticketing storage and retrieval platform is catching on quickly - everywhere.
On Tuesday, RE/MAX Regional Services, one of the largest RE/MAX franchisors in the United States, began offering digital business cards to its 4,500 real estate brokers and agents across five states. They include, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Southern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan. If all goes well, you can expect the availability of digital business cards to spread from coast to coast in short order.
The integration of RE/MAX with Passbook has been made possible by Vizibility Inc., which announced the news in a press release this morning. According to details made available to the agents at that time, participants in the program can share their new Mobile Business Cards using Passbook on their iPhones as well as with QR codes printed on business cards, listings and other sales materials.
"In today's competitive real estate climate, we have to push the envelope of technology to give our agents a competitive edge. We also must provide home buyers with the best tools to make what may be the most important decision of their lives," says Dane Ellison, CEO of RE/MAX Regional Services.

Still nothing useful in Passbook, especially for those not in the U.S. I know it's not totally Apples fault, but I'd love for companies and Apple to greatly expand passbook

I'll have to agree although it would be nice if businesses would follow suit like Starbucks, ticketmasters is Cool & all but doesn't allow you to use it on Passbook which is a Downer i guess for Most Event's it just makes it Simpler with less fuss.
