Starbucks App Updated for iPhone 5
One of the most common stereotypes for Apple device users is that you’ll find them taking pictures of their coffees at Starbucks and posting them to Instagram, having been edited with the built-in photo filters. As we will not be able to refute, nor support this claim, we will happily laugh along with this persona.
Helping in the adoption of this stereotype, iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5G users can now download a four-inch display-friendly version of the Starbucks application from the App Store, version 2.5.2, to be exact. This means no more ugly letterboxes at the top and bottom of the application. The app will allow users to find their closest Starbucks, manage their Starbucks Card balance, and help pay for their goodies with the included Passbook integration.
The update not only adds support for the new screen resolution, but it also includes multiple bug fixes to improve in the handling and performance of the application. The update also brings back a sound for when stars drop in the cup from the Rewards tab; this feature can be enabled or disabled depending on your preference.
Existing users will find the update from the Updates tab in the App Store, and new users can snag the application for free from this link.

Surprised It took them this long to update, you would have though they could hire more developers with the money they are saving by paying 0% tax.

There'll be a press release tomorrow supposedly saying that not only are they no longer avoiding corporation tax but they will pay a but extra on top. Too little too late? Damage already done?
