'SSCapture' Will Let You Take Timed Screenshots
An interesting free jailbreak tweak dubbed SSCapture by iOS developer Adolfoi_ has made its way into Cydia. The tweak allows you to take screenshots at timed intervals. It is integrated with Activator, so you can invoke the Activator action you choose and the interface above will appear so you can enter the time intervals in seconds that you want your device to take screenshots.
Once you enter the time interval and tap on the Start button, the tweak will begin taking screenshots for you and storing them in your Camera Roll:
What’s rather ingenious about the tweak is that the screen will not flash white with each screenshot. This means you'll be able to use the device without an annoying flash going off every few seconds. This also means your device is taking screenshots in the background and whoever is using the iOS device won’t even know it is doing so (you would, of course). Because of this, theoretically the tweak could be used to track the usage of the person you hand your device to.
As soon as you invoke your Activator action again, the tweak will stop taking screenshots and you will get a confirmation message saying the tweak has stopped.
SSCapture definitely has a limited scope of use, but it’s a really interesting concept that some people may be able to put to good use. It's free, so check it out!
