Apple Store App Update Adds Siri and Passbook Integration
The Apple Store app that Apple provides on the App Store has received an update today that adds integration with Siri and Passbook.
As shown above, you can now ask Siri about items that Apple sells on their Web site and Siri will launch the Apple Store application and load up the item that you ask about. You can ask about iPhones, iPods, iPads, MacBooks, and much more.
If you don’t have the Apple Store application installed and you ask Siri the same question, she will simply respond to you asking if you want to install the app. Because of this, it seems that Apple has updated Siri from their server end and it will just search for the presence of the Apple Store app whenever you ask something Apple Store-related instead of asking if you want to search the Web.
As for the Passbook integration… well, it’s not quite active yet, but it will allow you to buy gift cards and e-mail them to people right from the Apple Store application. According to the application update information, these gift cards can be integrated with Passbook (as soon as Apple allows it of course). The feature should be up and running very soon.
You can download the updated Apple Store app for free from this link.

If you don't have the App Shop app Siri will ask you to install it. If you click the link it goes directly to the App Store and the Apple Shop App.
So if you dont have the shop just ask Siri "how much is the iPhone 5" and it will install it for you.

This is interesting. This is basically just a change to the 'Open this app' function Siri already had expect that Siri is able to send parameters to the app it opens. I wonder if Apple will let other developers add this type of functionality to their apps.
