Hold down on the post, touch more, select open in safari. Works fine for me. No need to copy and paste URL.

My time is right in app. So something has to be wrong in your settings.

To add to the 'video not working' subject.

If you do as Simon says and tap the article -> More -> Open in Safari and then choose 'View in App' from the popup on the bottom: This allows the Safari version to open up 'inside' the MMI App!

Still a pain but better than it used to be!

FYI...I'm getting the Permission Error when trying to upload a pic, as well.

I believe you have to pay for the upgrade to get rid of the ads.

...also, using the method I stated above, the MMI ads will kick you out of the app into Safari UNLESS you immediately scroll through the article and posts.

The crappiness I've complained about is beyond their iOS app. It's the website too. For instance, right now the main News page of modmyi.com says there are 67 comments for this topic:



But clicking on the topic, it says there are only 38 comments, and that's all the article shows:



I've tried clearing ALL the browser cache: same thing (latest FireFox browser). I've tried using Chrome, and clearing its cache: same thing. All other forums and websites I visit don't have these basic problems. Very few apps I use (iPhone 5, iPad 3, latest iOS) have these fundamental, basic problems. I've paid the $2 or $3 dollars to get the advert-free version. There are many, many free or $0.99 apps that are far more complex, and work much better, than the modmyi app. It simply sucks, as does their website. I don't know how someone could deliberately make such a sucky site, but they have.

And I'm not going to participate in the feel-good, boost-their-esteem trend of praising crappy work. That simply leads to a general mediocrity and demoralization of those who DO good work.

Removing the iAds from the app can be done by purchasing the full version via in-app purchase for $2.99 from the More tab.

Their (modmyi.com) content is good. Specifically, often enough they have news other sites don't have, and their guides for jailbreaking are really good. I want them to succeed, which I why I paid for the app. I'm frustrated that their good to excellent content is presented with such ****** means.

Well the owners will see this thread so hopefully some or all of these bugs can be addressed.

Anyone else notice that touching the status bar won't automatically bring you to the top like every other? I thought that was an iOS thing...not an App feature!?!?!

And I can't get the Loading Behavior to show the 'lastest post' by default. I'm not even sure if 'first unread' is working...
