Launch Notification Center Instead of SpotLight With 'NCLight'

If you’re not big on using SpotLight (like most of us), then give this new free jailbreak tweak a try. It’s called NCLight by iOS developer Bradley Friedman (S1ReX). The tweak doesn’t completely disable SpotLight, but it will open Notification Center when you swipe over to SpotLight.
When you swipe to SpotLight, you will see the interface for a brief second and then Notification Center comes flying down the screen to the rescue. As soon as you close Notification Center, you will be right back at SpotLight, so it does feel a little odd, but the tweak does give you an alternative way of opening Notification Center. It would have been better if the tweak outright disabled SpotLight and simply launched Notification Center.

You can enable and disable the tweak on demand from the preferences pane found in the Settings application. Upon installing the tweak, you will need to disable the tweak and then enable it again to get it work, so just head to the Settings application to do that (quick and easy, right?).
It’s a simple modification that a few of you may find nice to have, but it’s nothing to jump out of your chairs about. Give it a try; it’s free!
Name: NCLight
Price: FREE
Version: 1.0
Requirements: iOS 5
Repo: BigBoss
Developer: Bradley Friedman (S1ReX)
Editor's Rating: / 2.5/5

If they could make it where just notification center pops up this would be the best stoplight replacement

SpotRemover is my favourite.
This is a very good idea though!

I actually LOVE Spotlight. Makes it really easy for me to find apps quick. Notification Center is useless to me.

I guess I'm one of the few people that uses Spotlight. A lot! Usually it's for doing internet searches without waiting for Safari to load. Works good.

Is there a tweak that allows you to scroll all the way right to your last springboard page then swipe again to loop you full circle back to the first springboard page? I know you can just press the home button to get back to the first page from any page, but it would be nice to scroll left from the first page and see the last page of apps instead of the spotlight page. In other words scroll either direction and have it continuously loop.
