I noticed this as well as I read the article. Reminds me of a local news channel covering politics...They tell you one side of the story, then the other, but you can always tell if they lean left or right. Either that, or two different people wrote this article!

Anyways, I live in Cali, so i am not really affected. The guy who said that having 30 days instead of 14 days to RETURN A CELL PHONE is the ONLY good thing about living in Cali....really needs to get out more... That, or he just doesn't enjoy amazing weather, the ocean, a plethora of beautiful women, bbq's at the beach in December, and once again....beautiful women everywhere!

Back on topic....I really do believe 14 days is plenty of time to basically test drive a iPhone, android, windows phone, whatever your flavor may be. These things are expensive, not only for the customer, but for the carriers selling them. Imagine being able to test drive a Lamborghini for 14 days....Sounds good to me!

Just don't think this is a big deal...I actually think its a smart, and fair (that's rare) move by AT&T. They are in the business of selling phones, not renting them out.

So he goes from saying consumers are getting screwed enough to saying that two weeks should be plenty of time to decide if you want to keep the phone. Tell us how you really feel...lol

this is just an example that AT&T can't handle the competition anymore and are doing any dirty trick to keep their costumers with their stupid 2 year plan.

This is how liberals think. I'll never understand it. Some of the highest taxes and gas prices in the nation and it's a small price to pay for consumer protection laws? Jesus, it's shame you get all those electoral votes.

Not sure if you even need 2 days to decide. A smartphone purchase these days is significant. You are spending a lot of money either up front or in the long run. If you have not done research and or homework as to the device, capabilities or its worth..im not sure what to say. Buy the phone and if you don't like it, return it within 14 days = DONE.

Then you will be on the hook for the $36 activation fee and the $35 restocking fee. That alone will make any AT&T employee you are trying to piss off smile (:
