Best Tweaks of the Week Oct. 1 - Oct. 7

Here are the best jailbreak creations for the week of October 1st until today, October 7th as per the opinion of our staff. This is a weekly recap.
1. BTC Mouse & Trackpad – $4.98
BTC Mouse & Trackpad is a great new jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Matthias Ringwald that adds support to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch for Bluetooth pointing devices such as computer mice and trackpads. The tweak comes with options for adjusting the acceleration of the pointer on the screen and includes presentation mode for using left and right clicks for moving through slides in Apple’s Keynote application. The tweak will give the user control of their device with the pointing device with features such as left click to tap, right click to simulate a home button press, and the scroll wheel for zooming in and out and for paging on the home screen. BTC Mouse & Trackpad integrates into the stock Bluetooth options and allows you use a pointing device along-side a keyboard with your iOS device to give it a more “at desk” feel when you aren’t on the go. It's a great tweak and will be fun for anyone with spare Bluetooth devices laying around at home.
2. iWidgets - FREE

iWidgets is a great new jailbreak tweak offered for free by iOS developer eldwin and it is a game-changer for people that love widgets. The tweak allows for HTML widgets on the home screen. iWidgets comes with two default widgets, but it has support for third party widgets that other developers can create as plugins for the tweak (separate packages in Cydia). Widgets can be moved around and placed anywhere on the home screen and added or removed from the home screen at any time. Being that the widgets are made from HTML, they can do almost anything and look any way the developer wants it to. Each widget has options that the user can set prior to placing it on the home screen. Already, some great widgets have made it into Cydia such as 3DaysForecastS, FlipClockS, Clocky, Epiq, and more. As time goes on, developers will be making more and more widgets to support the platform. Give it a try!
3. Music2iPod – FREE

Music2iPod is a new free application by iOS developer Arpad Goretity (H2CO3) that allows you import media files from your file system directly to your iOS device's media applications such as the Music application, Videos application, and Podcasts application. Music2iPod works on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and will make a great replacement for anyone that hates iTunes. For anyone that uses Dropbox and iFile, Music2iPod will be your best friend because you can copy and paste the music from your computer over to Dropbox and then over to your iOS device without ever using iTunes. If you should ever sync your iOS device to iTunes in the future, media that you import with Music2iPod will not be deleted from your device. Music2iPod lets you set the name, artist, album, and genre right from the import screen and the import takes less than a couple of seconds. This is a great application and being offered for free, it gives Jonas Gessner's Bridge application some healthy competition. Try it out!

Oddly enough, I was going to say that so far Pwntunes works better. But that's likely because I like to import whole albums

The iwidgets rock but I'm assuming the weather won't work since there isn't a gps system on an iPad. Just curious. I wasn't sure if this was strictly iPhone stuff.

Most of the iWidgets are made for the iPhone, but a lot of the developers are looking into more iPad stuff. If you have a none GPS device you can change the script to add your coordinates for yahoo weather say. Just ask on the thread and they will help you :-)
Great tweak and deserves its place on the tweak of the week, welcome Anthony.

Music2ipod is great except one thing. It doesn't let you choose cover art for music. Bridge has the slight edge even though it cant move some formats to the video app such as mp4 videos from idownloader for example.

Thanks, yea I tried that with a few of the weather widgets. I entered the code and turned the gps off but it just says "Internet?" I guess I will play with it some more.
