oh wooowww, pod2g said there won't be a jailbreak for ios6, my now what are we to do, this is just like with ios 5.1.1 when he said there won't be a jailbreak, oh wait, there was a jailbreak but it was released by someone other than pod2g. I'm sorry but i don't really see why this guy has to be the final voice in jailbreaking, he might be the best, but certainly not the only one.

I think so many people expect a jailbreak as soon as a new phone/iOS comes out
We have to have patience and wait it out
They have never let us down before and will hopefully give us a jailbreak for ip5/ios6
So I'm saying keep up the good work on the future jailbreaks dev team

I just realized I wouldnt want my ipad or iphone if the idevices cannot be jailbroken anymore. And that has nothing to do with paying like $980 for my ipad and like $700 for my iphone....

Guess we will have to live with that. Now, the smart thing to expect is for someone who will develop a way to be able to downgrade to 5.1.1. I understand there will be a Redsn0w for this

Title seems to be misleading. I have iOS 6 jailbroken on my A4 devices (iPod Touch and iPhone 4).
Reading the article now...
Lots of statements in the article need to be clarified. Like this one: "To put it into simpler terms, there is no iOS 6 jailbreak for regular iOS device owners at the moment. "

The only bad thing really is I'm sure a lot of people upgraded to ios6 based on that screenshot of cydia.. in that regard I think pushing out a screenshot with no extra information was kind of a jerk move..
I however.. have been in the community long enough to know better.. not everyone has been... for those who got excited and upgraded from the promise of those screenshots.. I am indeed sorry.. but now you know better

Last year I suffered 4 months with a stock 4S because musclenerd posted a video of an A5 failbreak!
I'm not falling for this BS again with chpwns pic of A6 JB phone!
I'm staying with my JB 4S 5.1.1 until pod2g starts talking positive about public release, for now his negative rants/tweets can be ignored.

We go through the same thing every time a new IOS comes out "*****, moan, grumble and complain"
Then when the Jailbreak does arrive "and it will" we all say great work guy keep up the good work !!!!
Unless you can actually have a in put into finding a exploit ? Shut up and wait for the guys to work their magic.
Just saying

pod2g sold a few security holes that could of been used. For 25,000$$/50,000$$ a few months ago. Musclenerd called him on it/posted about it on Twitter.
There is too much money involved to not jailbreak.

Why is apple so against people using the firmware version they want. why are users forced to upgrade and not be able to go back if they so choose.

That is sad. Since the only A5 has a tethered jailbreak possible, it must be with the new A6. Here's hoping.
