Are you guys really expect Apple to do what Google took years in making those maps what they are today.
Of course Apple will care first of the USA regardless that is not his best market, but its his home.
SIRI was born to fail. Conclusion IOS 6 is only a cosmetic job a facelift.
So disappointing for all of us who suck-up to Apple and make them worth more they are actually deserve.

Anybody know if:
1) Google is going to supply a downloadable maps app to replace the one Apple just removed? (Like they just did with their YouTube app?)
2) If we don't use Facebook, can we remove all links, references and pop-ups to facebook sharing options?
I'm not in the least bit tempted to upgrade to iOS 6. No more Google maps, tight integration with some social network garbage I never even use, no jailbreak and no downgrading back to iOS5.1.1 (once Apple stops signing). I agree with BigBoss - this is the lamest ever "major" update to iOS.

What's with the crescent moon symbol next to the time in most of those screen shots?

Don't know about Siri as I'm on an iPhone 4, but anybody who wants a proper Nav app probably already has Tom Tom or similar.

I'll be waiting for the untethered jailbreak for my 4S. Hopefully by December.
In the mean time, I would love to see Apple's map app ported to iOS 5. How difficult do you think this will be?

Apple have a long way to go before giving the UK the features that Google maps gives us
And Siri still sucks for us
