T-Mobile Getting Shut Out of New iPhone Release

Following T-Mo news, they reported they lost 500,000 customers when the 4S was introduced last year, on the flip side, since Apple/AT&T started allowing unlocks in May, T-Mo has gained back almost half those numbers.
When the re-farming is complete in all major cites/hubs by the end of the year they (T-Mo) anticipate gaining more then they had initially lost.
I am hopeful that at some time they will also sell the beloved iPhone. Best guess's are, first quarter 2013. No fact yet, just rumors that keep popping up.

This sucks so bad. I was going to switch to T-Mo again when my contract with Verizon is up next March. I hope they at least get a late release for the iPhone. That or I hope T-Mobile's 3G or 4G is going to be able to work with the iPhone by then. I'm so bummed right now...

Bottom line for most (especially those grandfathered) it is still cheaper to buy a Factory Unlocked new iPhone for $700.00 and have T-Mo, still saving money on cost of plans and unlimited data. I foresee an onslaught to T-Mo when 3G/LTE hits whether they offer the iPhone or not.

I hear that, getting so close here in the Valley, at my office in Scottsdale I see it almost everyday. Can't wait for them to turn on the switch for good.

Are you going to be buying a factory unlocked for the new iPhone this year Bo? I want to but I gotta save up for that lol. It's easier to pay more for a bill monthly than it is to put $700 upfront! It hurts haha.

Absolutely, buy the new model every year, (factory unlocked) so I have to wait about a month after the release till the sell them. Worth the wait.
Yup, I always get the 32's so $750.00 ish ouch........

I am pretty sure once T mobile finished upgrading their bandwidth to accommodate 4g / LTE network, the rates would go up. Here in Canada, Fido has the slowest speed only 3G network No LTE and they have the cheapest rate plan compared to Rogers , Bell or Telus.

This rumor/article made my day upside down when I read it, I already sold my 4s and ready to buy the new iPhone on T-Mobile network only reason I was never on tMo was cause of no 3G on unlock iPhone and I gotta have me my iPhone! Uggh worse day ever!

My problem is this..the iPhone WILL be on every carrier in 5 years. Whats taking so long?? Why the lets let this company sell it but not this one? Sprint SUCKS and everyone knows that. Tmo is ok..not good not bad but OK. Apple give Tmo the iPhone and stop the BS..that is all for now.
