Easily Clear SpringBoard and Keyboard Caches With 'ClearMyCache'

Sometimes caches in iOS can get weighed down over time. This can cause slowness and bogged down performance. A new application can be downloaded for free from the Cydia store to clean out these caches in a very quick step without very much work on the user’s part.
The application, called ClearMyCache by iOS developer Krishna Sagar, puts a new application icon on your home screen that launches a complete cache-wipe for over 35 of iOS’s caches – including the keyboard. The cache wipe removes unnecessary files that build up over time.
After you launch the application, what appears to be a blank application interface will appear. After a few seconds, you will get the pop-up that states, “All SpringBoard and Keyboard caches cleared. Device will now respring!” To respring the device, the user simply needs to tap on the respring button at the bottom of the pop-up and the device will respring.
The application works especially well for people who are heavy themers. If you have ever noticed right after switching from one theme to another via WinterBoard that opening an application shows the old theme images for a few moments before loading into the new theme style, this is because of your caches. ClearMyCache can prevent this from happening and help these applications load up faster.
The application is worth the download since it's free and useful, but you shouldn’t have to use it too often. I noticed a decent speed improvement the first time I tried it. Be sure to let us know about your results.

I don't really know why you have to constantly clear cache.. the device automatically manages it right?

I use iCleaner, which works very well. But I'll give this a try.

Yep- Photo Menu caused the tiling behind App Switcher to become a smaller rectangle, leaving open space around it and just making it look weird. Never had a problem with iCleaner. Period.
