Hide the App Download Indicator Bar With 'NoLine'

When you download applications from the App Store in iOS, you are brought to the home screen where you will find the application you were downloading on the home screen. The icon will be darkened and a download indicator bar appears, showing the download and install progress of the application in real time. The application download indicator bar is usually preferred, but apparently not by everyone.
We’ve seen jailbreak tweaks that enhance the application download indicator bar such as AppCent, which shows us the percentage of completion of the application download and installation. However, not yet have we seen a tweak that completely does away with the application download indicator bar, until now that is. A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed NoLine, by iOS developer Rickye is now live in Cydia. The tweak effectively hides the application download indicator bar from the home screen when downloading application from the App Store.
Even though the tweak hides the application download indicator bar, it doesn’t hide the loading circle that appears in the Status Bar while the device uses your wireless Internet connection to download the application from the App Store. This is just about the only way you can tell that the application is currently being downloaded apart from the application icon being darkened and the bottom of the application icon saying "loading" rather than the name of the application.
The only real benefit to the tweak is having the ability to see the entire application icon as it is downloading instead of having the lower portion of the icon hidden by the download indicator bar. For most people, the tweak probably isn’t something that will be desired since download progress is usually a highly demanded feature. The tweak is open source and the source code can be seen on Github. NoLine has no options to configure after installation – uninstalling it is the only way to disable it. It is a free tweak, so you can give it a try and see if you like it.

This is officially the most useless tweak ever. Getting rid of something informative, and not replacing it? Ill pass.

Certainly the reason Anthony wrote this comment. For most people, the tweak probably isn’t something that will be desired since download progress is usually a highly demanded feature
We don't make them, just let you know what's available. Enjoy...

Has anyone realized he/she had used 7% of battery in less than a minute?

I feel like I lose brain cells every time I read these articles (rich with obvious statements) about useless tweaks.

I don't like bashing on things nor ima hater but this tweak should of just been left for people to find it themselves. I honestly can't see someone making an excuse why they would use this tweak.

Is it possible that you are using your brain cells for such a dumb discussion.

You people are so one-minded.
What if you don't need the progress bar if you have installed the percentage feature? You can see the whole app and the percentage is your progress.
Sure, it's nothing groundbreaking, but that's the beauty of the jailbreak community, there's always something for everyone, not just whatever is expected or what the majority wants/needs.
You all sound so ungrateful, geez.

You're right. There should be something for everyone.

Dude, chill out, they're just putting it here to anyone interested. Maybe someone doesn't want it to show the progress. Either way, it's just a review. He was offering opinion on it to anyone that might be considering getting the tweak, but doesn't want to waste time getting it and then hating it.
