The author has a fix. You need to download from his repo, it's version 1.0-4

The repository is: joedj's beta repo

1.0-7 already. wish there was a changelog though.

  12. #30
I have installed 1.0-7 but the sunspider benchmark is still the same in chrome or dolphin. Has anyone the same problem?

Is there any reason not to turn this on for every app?

After downloading and running the JavaScript tests on webkit.org I'm seeing a 75% increase in Chrome's JS speed, amazing! Chrome and Safari are now reporting almost exactly the same results, 2248 ms for Safari and 2247 ms for Chrome. Chrome's native speed without the tweak was 9098 ms. Definitively worth the $0.99!

Yup, but I think it's better for you to be on iOS 5.1.1 right now.

I am not sure if this is definitely the cause but I turned it on for a lot of apps and saw my available memory (not RAM) drop a lot. I changed it to my top 20 apps and gained memory back.

I was crashing too after installing it but I updated to 1.0-9 now and it's working perfectly.

Just add this source to Cydia and update- joeddj beta repo

This is literally the best thing ever (this month). Its like facebook already released their new improved version of the iOS facebook app. Really worth the .99c I was skeptical about paying any money at all for this, but now seeing the performance, I would have paid even more for this. The performance is as tangible as when moving from an iphone4 to a 4S.

Best. Tweak. Ever? Totally worth purchasing.

    Major props to the developer!

It's working very well here (and seems to be for plenty of others too). Perhaps instead of being a crybaby on a review you should send the dev an email (via Cydia including logs) and explain why you think this great tweak is a "POS"...?
