Upcoming 'SearchEnable' Tweak Lets You Pick Additional Safari Search Engines
For most people, Google is the only search engine they will ever need to find information on the Internet. However, to be fair, some people don’t prefer Google. Apple only gives users three options for a Mobile Safari search engine – Google, Yahoo!, and Bing. All of these services are at least half-way decent, but not always preferred. To fix this issue, an upcoming jailbreak tweak will seamlessly integrate more search engines into Mobile Safari.
The tweak will be called SearchEnable by iOS developer Rudolf Lichtner. As shown above, the tweak adds a ton of new search engines including:
SearchEnable doesn’t come with its own preferences pane. Instead, the tweak is integrated right into the already-existing Safari options. You can find the options to change your search engine in Settings>Safari>Search Engine. Additionally, SearchEnable will automatically update the text in the search engine text field in the Mobile Safari Web browser so that it matches the third party search engine you choose to use instead of Apple’s defaults:
If you have been looking for a tweak that offers additional search engine alternatives, SearchEnable is certainly worth taking a look at. I find the WolframAlpha search engine to be very useful for common queries that I type into the text field. Hopefully some additional search engines will be added to the tweak in the near future. SearchEnable will be free on the ModMyi repository sometime this week, so keep your eyes peeled!

Wow, Apple hasn't come out with this, I'd love to watch them steal the idea for iOS 6. Apple let's the jailbreakers become their inspiration it seems.
