Add Additional Options to Google Chrome With 'BetterChrome'
If you like Google’s popular new Google Chrome Web browser for iOS, then chances are that you wish there were just a couple extra features to push it over the top. A new jailbreak tweak dubbed BetterChrome by iOS developer Nobita.ZZZ does just that by adding a couple of essential features to Google Chrome that it didn’t have before. The extra options are added to the Google Chrome options button as shown above.
BetterChrome adds two new buttons to Google Chrome’s options – the ability to add Web page shortcuts to your home screen like you can in Mobile Safari and the ability to share Web pages that you are looking in using Facebook, Twitter, or Google+. The developer took special care to make sure that the interface was easy to understand and also that everything worked properly.
When you tap on the share button, you are presented with a simple interface allowing you to pick between the three major social networking giants and then you will be ready to share your Web discovery with the world. The sharing interface is done right from the Google Chrome browser itself, where you will need to sign into the social networking site through the browser and not through some kind of user interface or through the official applications installed on your device.
Tapping on the Add to Homescreen button will prompt you with a text field so you can name the icon whatever you want it to be and then the icon will appear on your home screen and tapping it will launch Google Chrome (not Mobile Safari) and load up the Web site that you added to your home screen.
Both of these features are currently available in Apple’s Mobile Safari, but they seem to have been forgotten about by Google as they were creating the new mobile Web browser for iOS. The tweak does a great job of doing what it set out to do, but for what it does, it is hard to justify the price tag of a dollar. However, if you miss this functionality in Google Chrome, it’s a good way to get it back.
The tweak also appears great in Google Chrome because it fits right in with the menu area of the browser and looks like Google put it there.

A lot of these tweaks are clunking it up. I mean some of them are useful but the main reason I like chrome is its simplicity and elegance and tweaks like this clunk it to me

Don't most websites already have buttons at the bottom of the content for sharing to social networks? And this guy's charging for it?

I just want the ability to set my own search engine, not just one of the three predefined ones.

I purchased this tweak and my iphone 4s kept crashing. uninstalled it and all is ok again. any insight on why this is happening? is it a tweak that does not play nice with another tweak or something to that effect ?
Would appreciate some feedback one way or another please.
