Facebook Promising July Fix to Slow, Crash-Happy iOS App

Seeing how awesome Facebook's photo application is, I can actually now have faith that their app will actually be really nice and actually functional. I was pretty impressed with their photo app...

It started getting really slow for me once timeline rolled out. I'll stare at a white screen when I click on someones profile and end up closing the app before it even finishes loading because it takes so long. The sad thing is that there aren't any other facebook apps that i know of so we are stuck. at least twitter as like 5 lol

Dude, there are many Facebook apps. All you have to do is search 'facebook' in the app store and you'll see them. Are you stupid? 'Facely HD' is a pretty good one for the iPad and iPhone.

The MMi app works great for me, I've never had a problem. Hmm. Facebook, however, is pretty bad. Especially when dealing with messages and all of that. I just use the separate Messenger app for those since the main one is so slow.

Not to go off topic, but the MMi app does have some glitches.

Pretty stupid I was reading this article and change to the next page. Guess what? It crashed!!!

With Safari Upload Enabler, I don't even bother with the app anymore. I'll believe it when I see it. An "update in July" is ridiculous for a site that has nearly a billion users. It's like the developers never even use the app themselves, which is probably the case.

It's true though, this MMi app needs a serious overhaul. "Tips" doesn't work, crashing, no 'thanks' button, no retina support...

Never had MMi crash on any of my devices.

I'm gonna be angry if this for the update for FB app doesn't fix the issues. The last update in like early May or late April said is fixed the crashing issues yet it still crashes.
