The 2012 Apple Design Award Winners

Apple announced the 2012 Apple Design Award winners after the opening keynote and the winners received some hefty prizes. The nominations for this year’s award were opened in late April, decided upon, and announced today at the 2012 Worldwide Developer Conference in Moscone West.

The winners received a special lanyard to commemorate the event, a new MacBook Air, a new third-generation iPad, an iPod Touch, and the Apple Design Award trophy. The compilation of winners per platform can be found below:

iPad winners

• Paper
• Bobo Explores Light
• DM1 – The Drum Machine

iPhone winners

• Where’s my Water?
• Jetpack Joyride
• National Parks by National Geographic

Mac winners

• Deus Ex: Human Revolution Ultimate Edition
• Limbo
• Sketch

Student winners

• DaWindci (iPad)
• Little Star (iPad)

If you haven’t already tried these apps, it might be a good idea to do so since they are being given recognition for a reason!

I think Path should have been on there for iPhone personally

Download the Apple Developer SDK for 99 dollars and design a remarkable app??? Simple enough?

I will agree IB was pretty epic when it came out. I have long since got bored with it.

But you need to create an app , right ?

Your favorite Apple, iPhone, iPad, iOS, Jailbreak, and Cydia site.
