Apple Releases iOS 5.1.1

[As always, jailbreakers should proceed with caution and know to avoid updating if you are presently running a jailbroken device]
On Monday, Apple released iOS 5.1.1. Seemingly more bug, performance, and security glitch-related than the last iOS update from March, which delivered Japanese language support for Siri and lock screen access to the iDevice's native Camera application, here's what Apple is serving up with iOS 5.1.1:
- Improves reliability of using HDR option for photos taken using the Lock Screen shortcut
- Addresses bugs that could prevent the new iPad from switching between 2G and 3G networks
- Fixes bugs that affected AirPlay video playback in some circumstances
- Improved reliability for syncing Safari bookmarks and Reading List
- Fixes an issue where 'Unable to purchase' alert could be displayed after successful purchase
More info, naturally, is available at Apple security updates
Known as Build 9B206, iOS 5.1.1, is available for the:
- The iPad 1,2, and 3
- iPhone 4S
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 3GS
- iPod touch: fourth and third-generation

Any of the possible exploits patched? If so....it seems Apple might be paying attention to polls asked by the jailbreak gods, asking whether or not they should use the exploits they have. Might be a mute question now......

none of these dumb updates are ever worth downloading. Only ones worth upgrading to are the next version, I'm waiting til 6.0

Apple should call all non Versioning updates "we hate jailbreakers and want them all to perish" updates hahahaha! LIke brianlg said only ones worth upgrading to are the updates that coincide with a new iPhone. Keep it moving..

Now we'll have to deal with people whining about how they updated to 5.1.1. Just terrific.

MuscleNerd advises all jailbreakers to stay away from this update. There's nothing in it worth the upgrade.

Isn't it funny that most of these "bugs" that this update claims to fix aren't present to 5.0.1? (At least I haven't run into them on my jail broken 4S 5.0.1b.)
