This feels just like 5 year olds fighting because they don't agree with eachother, whatever happened to have an intelligent conversation without people using language to make their point? If you use inappropriate language to try to make a point, it INVALIDATES YOUR POINT

Mr. Popular I like that . Jonathan the whole thread is basically fighting. It's highly opinionated so really you shouldn't be shocked. Everyone has a different say on it. Let's try to stay on topic guys.

Sometimes, when someone has apologised and explained, it is worth recognising that in public - just because someone disagrees with you does not make them wrong.
    I disagree with him.
He was wrong (to swear - not to express his opinion) - but he as explained why.
    Just a thought.

In a weird way, i have a weird affection toward tethered jailbreaks. They always seem to be much more stable, all my tweaks always behave, it almost never freezes, its much more ram efficient, and just seems like an overall sturdier way to go. Of course, the ability to reboot is quite a sacrifice, but every once and a while i like to restore to 5.1 and do it tethered, just to downgrade and untether again a few weeks later

I've heard that too, but I've heard to stay away from Redsn0w on 5.1 and just use Sn0wbreeze 2.9.3. Redsn0w is supposedly very unstable for now. I've always had problems with it though.

RedSn0w is, and always has been, the most stable JB.

Meh that's just what I heard about the 5.1 jailbreak. I never liked it, it screwed SandBox up for 5.0.1 making me have to restore.

Its funny you say that, redsnow made my cousin have to restore on 5.1. It just randomly got stuck in a boot loop, before he even installed anything. (and yes, we booted it tethered, that thing was just screwed over)

Yah just odd. Some people think it's just Redsn0w itself... I personally love Sn0wbreeze though.

Sn0wbreeze is a windows wrapper round the basics of pwnagetool - the early versions were truly awful but newer versions are OK. But pwnagetool has has been virtually dropped as RedSn0w has exceeded it in every way.

What RS does is quite stunning.

    But that's just my opinion.

Redsn0w does have quite a few more features though, Sn0wbreeze can really customize your iPSW though. They're both great though. I just use Sn0wbreeze since I enjoy customizing everything.

Don't release the jailbreak. We can wait it out until iOS 6 to see what happens. A few months until the new iPhone comes out won't hurt anyone.

If he had his shsh and apticket files backed up then what's the problem? If he didn't then that's a big "I told you so" to him.
