Default Unlock Your Jailbroken iPhone With SAM Today!

You can unlock your jailbroken iPhone right now thanks to an iPhone hacker called Loktar_Sun. The iPhone unlock relies on a project made by iOS developer Sam Bingner dubbed SAM, which stands for Subscriber Artificial Module. Loktar_Sun used SAM in an unexpected way, reusing the IMSI obtained in an early step by adding it to a later step. Renowned iPhone hacker MuscleNerd has confirmed via his Twitter that this unlock method works with his iPhone 4S:

Instructions for performing your unlock can be found from this link as MuscleNerd Tweeted earlier. According to Sam Bingner, this unlock method grabs a legitimate ticket from Apple and does some information spoofing to unlock your iPhone. Sam was able to confirm that it also works with the iPhone 4. While the instructions are currently a little long, Sam says he is working on a package to make it much more simple and straightforward as we speak.

To download the correct SAM package, be sure to add the following repository to your iPhone in Cydia by tapping on the Manage tab, then the Sources button, then tapping Edit, then tapping Add:
    PHP Code:
    repo.bingner.com
MuscleNerd tells me that the unlock must be performed with each SIM individually. The activation ticket on the iPhone needs to match that of the SIM it was generated with, so you won't be able to switch between SIMs on the fly unless you unlock them one by one by repeating this process. This is where the factory unlocked iPhone has an advantage.

MuscleNerd also states that if Apple fixes this unlock method, your unlock should still be valid.

I have StraightTalk service, but it's not listed in the carrier, what should I click on?

I have a Sprint CDMA phone and have a spare straightalk sim lying around which is GSM, would the unlocking work? If so I don't see straighttalk listed in the menu

It's not interfering but it deactivated my SIM. Now iTunes does not think my sim is good on my softbank 3gs with Vodafon sim.

i just went halfway through this method, and in the middle of copying my SIM IMSI to to the SAM, it rebooted my 4S, and now I am stuck in the activation screen. I can't activate my phone, even with an AT&T SIM card in it. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I've tried nearly everything I can think of. I've rebooted the phone several times, took the sim tray in and out dozens of times, and still no luck.

I'm very worried that somehow my iphone may have been blacklisted somehow. Someone please help.

Should i switch from ATT gophone $25 a month to tmobile? prepaid?

I dont have data right now just unlimited text and 200 mins monthly.

    $25.

But im not so impressed with the edge thats like daul up speed lol.
    so i really dont care.

All i care about is if its cheaper and has same or better coverage then gophones coverage?

    Should i switch?

LOOOOOOOOOl your EFFED in the @ss lol. I think you just messed your phone up unless you officially go to att and on plan and activate that way or use ultrasnow but thats not likely.

I would put it in DFU mode, restore the phone and it should re-activate.

Does it working for all iPhones or just for the 4/4s? I have a 3GS with new boot ram that I would like to unlock :-)
