    It should work as I originally coded it for the 4S. It has been tested on the 4S, i4, iPad1 and iPad2 all on 5.0.1. If it's not working then another tweak must be interfering and I'll need to know which one may be conflicting.

    I don't touch anything with the SMS system so you have something else interfering.

    I'm fact I don't even hook into the Messages app at All. Only SpringBoard, Preferences and the 2 Software Update daemons.

    Hmm never heard of RecoveryGuard. I'll have to test it out with it and see.

    recoveryguard prevent iTunes form searching for updates when connected via usb, by letting it think it's already running the latest update

    I don't see how it would conflict because I specifically tap into the SoftwareUpdate system. It sounds like RecoveryGuard taps into other system related stuff. But I'll give it a test later.

    For those where the SpringBoard icon was not clearing I have submitted 1.0.2 today which should fix that.
