[Review] SiriHeights - Manually Customize the Height of the Siri Interface
If the default height of the Siri interface Apple shipped it off with isn’t good enough for you, then a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed SiriHeights by iOS developer rvirajm will allow you to manually adjust the height of the Siri interface to anything you would like it to be. There has been a handful of Siri height-adjusting tweaks in the past, however they always put Siri at a designated height that you would have no control over.
SiriHeights works with both the iPhone 4S and with Spire on older iOS devices running iOS 5. SiriHeights comes with a preferences pane, which you will find in the Settings application after installing the tweak. From the preferences pane, you will be able to adjust the height of the Siri interface using a slider and you can enable and disable the tweak at your leisure – disabling it will enable Apple’s default Siri height:
The slider is minimally set at 0.3 units and maximally set at 2.5 units. The larger amount the slider is set at, the smaller the Siri interface will be, just as the smaller amount the slider is set at, the opposite effect will be engaged.
Functionally, the tweak doesn’t really do anything to solve problems with iOS or do anything people might really want out of a jailbreak tweak, however it does add that extra sense of customization that wasn’t there before installing the tweak. Everything appears to work properly and it doesn’t break Siri’s ability to function properly. Enjoying this tweak depends entirely on your ability to stay sane with the default Siri interface height.
