[Review] HomeSafari - Safari Home Page and Home Button

One thing iOS’s great Mobile Safari browser lacks is the ability to set a home page and having a convenient button for getting to it. There have been jailbreak tweaks in the past to help us roll past these obstacles, however they cost money – Home Page in Safari allows us to add a home page to Safari, as the name suggests and Home Button in Safari adds a button to the Action Menu from Safari allowing us to enter the home page from any Web site we might be viewing in Safari.
If you do not want to pay any money and you are interested in having home page functionality with the Mobile Safari Web browser on your iDevice, then a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed HomeSafari by iOS developer Ron Melkhior is just what you have been looking for. After installing it, you can head over to your Settings application to find its preferences pane:

From the preferences pane for HomeSafari, we can choose our home page, enable or disable it, and we also have the ability to enable or disable the button from the Mobile Safari Action Menu, which allows us to navigate to the home page from any Web site similarly to the home button in any PC Web browser. The first screenshot in this review shows you where the home page button is located – the same place where you add bookmarks and do much more.
HomeSafari works well and launches your home page for you automatically once you launch the Safari application. The button is fully functional. Unfortunately, if you close out of all your open Web pages in Safari, you have to manually navigate to your home page again by tapping on the home page button from the Action Menu. With Home Screen in Safari, if you close all of your open Web pages, your home page automatically loads up.
If you like opening the browser and just heading over to the Google search bar every time, then you probably don’t care if you have a home page or not and this tweak probably won’t phase you. On the other hand, if you want a home page for Mobile Safari, then check this tweak out because it’s free!

Sweet! Now here is a useful tweak. I've wanted this functionality for a long time but it was expensive.
