[Review] TouchPosé - Circles That Follow Your Taps and Gestures
Have you ever wanted to have the screen show you where you’re touching the screen as you touch it? A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed TouchPosé by iOS developer iolate will do this for you. It shows elegant, light blue circles where your finger comes into contact with the touch screen and will follow your finger wherever you tap, pinch, or swipe. The way the circle interacts with your finger is exactly the way the white circle in the Display Recorder application by iOS developer Ryan Petrich follows your finger as you record the display.
TouchPosé is an on-demand tweak. This means you are able to hide or show the blue circle whenever you want to. To do this, we invoke an Activator action, which you assign to TouchPosé after you install it from Cydia. There are no other preferences to configure for TouchPosé and you can start using it immediately. The screenshot above shows you an example of what the blue circle looks like when you touch the iDevice's touch screen. A blue circle will appear for every finger touching the display.
This genuinely simple tweak is nice to have just for the sake of having a level of customization you didn’t have before. It’s not something that will come in use for anything in particular. If you like tricking out your iPhone the way non-jailbreakers cannot, then this is something to check out. It doesn’t appear to have any noticeable impact on system performance.
If I had any complaints about TouchPosé, it would be the fact that you need to use Activator to enable and disable it. I would much prefer a preferences pane in the Settings application for enabling and disabling a simple tweak like this because Activator actions are limited. If you are a minimalist and you hate things appearing on your screen when you are doing things, then you probably won’t like this tweak. However, it's just simple and elegant enough that most of you will probably like having it – as I do already.

Nice tweak. Hopefully the dev will add an option where you can change the blue dot to something else. And also you can't touch the screen super fast again and again and expect a response until the blue dot disappears. Still a cool tweak.

Am I just a complete idiot or do you have to add a new source to cydia to download this? I can't find it anywhere in cydia. EDIT: i just found it on bigbosses website.

Neat tweak. I like it! Helps with typing and other touches to know and adapt.
I don't see any delay in typing speed.

Pretty cool tweak. Makes you type slow when it's on though. Wish I could change the circle to a mouse icon. lol
