SiriZone def worth the $20
I know a lot of people have said this already but thanks for writing this article. I completely discounted using paid proxies to get Siri to work with my iPhone 4 and after this article i decided to take the plunge and pay the $20 for SiriZone. Got Spire up and running in less than half an hour and i have no problems so far. Thanks again great article.

I took the plunge and bought a slot on Sirizone too and it's working great.
I had some difficulty installing spire. On my first install attempt my installation completely froze on "Setting Up Shared Cache".. I waited a half hour and the progress meter froze and the screen locked a couple times because I didn't touch it often enough to beat the auto lock. I then plugged up my iPhone 4 to the USB cable on my laptop, shut off the phone and did 'just boot tethered' in the latest version of Redsn0w. I then went into Cydia and it informed me about a partial install that failed and offered me the option to ignore or clear up, so I cleared it up. Cydia restarted the springboard. I entered Cydia again and attempted to install Spire. This second attempt worked. It took less than 5 minutes for the Spire install process. A google search did not reveal how long Spire is * supposed* to take to install. Answer: less than 5 minutes on good wifi!
I am disappointed that Siri and VoiceActivator don't work together. I was hoping I could have Siri obey my commands. I suppose I can turn off Siri and Voice Control will work again. I had several VoiceActivator commands to open my favorite apps and now I am unable to do that. Is there a SIri\Spire hack that allows one to make Siri launch apps?
So I turned off Siri to use VoiceActivator on VoiceControl, which worked, but then when I turned Siri back on she wouldn't return anything using Sirizone on the NJ proxy, so I respringed and it made no difference. Then I changed to the Fremont, CA one and she's working again. Did the NJ one just go down or is it bad practice to go turning Siri on and off? Can Spire not handle the switching?Last edited by bencjedi; 02-07-2012 at 09:54 PM.

I have reloaded the sources every time. It stops the install at Downloading Spire or Preparing spire. Then I get some error code. The. It tells me remove it and re install it an it's the same thing all over again.

How long does it take for Sirizone to respond to tweet or email?

Don't get me wrong I love Siri on my iphone4, but on the other hand I prefer launch apps the good old fashion way.
I don't know if anyone's noticed this before spire was introduced to cydia, there was a Siri dictation dubbed siri0us, understood me better at voice to text than siri. Hmmm....I wonder why
