You are clearly deluded or simply grossly uneducated in the technology and company you so blindly defend

I do love iPhones, but Samsungs really stepped it up.The 4S is nothing compared to its Galaxy. Those of you saying its not, are just ignorant about androids. My contract ends somewhere around when the iPhone 5 comes out. If Apple doesnt step it up, I guess its android for me.

Hmmm let's take it again...Iphone vs Samsung..Compare in os..oh **** samsung has no OS..Android is borrowed from google..Compare in screen..larger screen for Samsung BUT best ppi for iphone..as you see the bigger doesn't mean better..Also android has and a ZTE..does this make it better from an iphone?

I forgot also to say that siri is much more than simple speech to text..The point in this comparison is that samsung just can't compare with Apple because they don't have OS..I had many phones to all OS..better for me and user friendly is ios
The thing that make a screen better or worse is ppi (pixels per inch)..Maybe bigger for Samsung but not as good as iphone's..The way that samsung has bigger screen is that they made it's resolution higher but android with a 3,5 inch screen will have very small icons. So the only solution was to have larger screeen

Gnex screen > retina screen ppi aside. Gnex is just under retina in ppi but enough that you can't tell a difference of ppi. HD and 4.65" is what to beat now.

I switched from 4s to a galaxy s2x on telus, rooted it and installed a custom kernel, OC'd it. And am using the ice cream sandwich theme. I really couldn't be happier. Only thing I've noticed is the sound quality from the headphone jack on iPhone is better than the galaxy... Idk why lol

You really can't diss android until you've tried it.. The market even has a fresh new layout that looks spectacular compared to app store. Maybe it lacks in apps yes , but they will catch up in time. Every main app I used on iPhone I found on the market as well.
Yes the commercials are a little ridiculous... But so is apple attempting to sue every phone company competing against them haha..
As for bloat ware on android. It can all be removed after a one click root. Problem solved.
Oh and flashing new overclocked kernels and ROMs onto android is the bomb... Way more exciting tha a JB. Really can't diss it till you try it.
This post is mainly directed at that ridiculous Metallica fan kid.. iPhone users should be ashamed of your comments bahahaha

You know I kind of really feel like the android/iOS debate is no different than the osx/windows debate. And there is still no clear cut winner.
For people who want their phone to just do the ground work for them, I suggest iPhone. For people who love having all sorts of options to customize left right and center (which, personally, is actually a turn off for me...) android is the one.
For that reason, it's almost like comparing apples and oranges. But iOS does have one undeniable "point" in its favor: it came first. Anything that was designed to "beat it" or even compare/compete with it was designed *in its wake*. Aside from that... Anything the other mobile platform designers chose to include as functions, apple could have done the same with (as it did with the notifications bar)... but for the most part apple chose not to, because of a specific experience they wanted their users to have. If its not the experience you like or want, don't go with them!
When it comes to a phone, I only want apple. When it comes to a tablet - which I don't have yet - I plan to own one of each.
And as for the Samsung ads... I like Samsung (especially their TVs), but I have to agree with someone else that they feel desperate.
I know Samsung is mad at Apple for keeping them tied up in litigation, but I actually think the fact that Apple wants to hurt their sales implies that Samsung must actually have a decent product, whereas their commercials detract from that image and make the company look to be trying too hard.

so i pointed out that your android speech-to-text feature is a POS compared to the iPhone's. my iPhone puts spaces where they need to go. it spells words correctly. it uses apostrophes for contractions and possessives where appropriate, and doesn't use apostrophes where inappropriate -- i don't look like a challenged 7th grader when I'm done dictating something on the iPhone. the result of your android speech-to-text use, however, makes its user look uneducated and simple.
in short, the android speech-to-text feature -- if in fact you were even using it to make your post -- is clearly a piece of garbage compared to the iPhone's.
so i'm left to wonder if the rest of the "features i could ever imagine on my iPhone, but which are already on androids" are just as awful. well, no thanks -- i'll just keep using features that work, thanks.
