If you see a boot logo often enough on your device to customize it, your not a happy person. Dumb.

If Anthony Bouchard had any sense he would remove this article till a stable solution was found.
Way to go!

What!!!!!! Animate & animate fix has been updated????????
Because if it is still the same versions as before then DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They WILL Royally F-up you screen display!!!!!!!!!
I tried the Animate and animate fix, with a boot logo, ad it worked, but after the phone boots up the pixels get all screwed up. I don't know how to explain it. It's like the pixels do a quick flash of craziness after the phone boots up.
THIS WILL PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR SCREEN if you use the standard version of Animate and Animate Fix for 4.3.x!!!!!!!!!
It fuc*** my iPod touch 4G iOS 5.0.1 and now the screen has 4 white flashing lines that have never gone away!!!!!! After a million restores (and not jailbreaking after the restores) I have come to the conclusion that Animate caused it.
I had it installed for a few weeks, and then all the sudden my screen display was permanently screwed.
UNLESS ANIMATE IN CYDIA LITERALLY SAYS: "updated for iOS 5" THEN DO NOT INTALL FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME!!!!!!!
YOU HAVE BEED WARNED.Last edited by ZĄG; 01-22-2012 at 02:47 PM.

I said part of this in the beginning of the thread. He is NOT lying. IT WILL TOTALLY BUG OUT AND DESTROY your display. I've seen 3 devices in as many days with the displays either going out or having white spotty pixelation defects and all of them happened after trying to have Animate/Animate fix. MMI Staff you should really really remove this "HOW TO". Im a big supporter of the staff here but seriously, this isn't how to set a boot logo for iOS 5 devices it's a how to f*** up your iOS 5 device very quickly tutorial. Seriously guys you should remove it before people start blaming YOU for their devices getting screwed.

This was very buggy to start with and now it has been updated but after trying to download the new version in cydia I can't even download as it wants to remove every package I have installed and at the bottom of the screen it says "conflicts........ IOS FIRMWARE"

Ok well keep using that version and watch your display burn out. It works, but it causes heavy graphical issues after being used a bit. I personally know 3 people who used it and now 2 of them don't have screens that work and the other has white pixelations all over the screen. After its been uninstalled, restored, caches cleared, etc...
